Imbolc: A Ritual to Welcome the Spring

Imbolc: A Ritual to Welcome the Spring

FEBRUARY 2ND | 8:30P-10P

Join together for a ritual to honor the end of Winter and mark the beginning of Spring. Imbolc (Imbolg) or Brigid's Day (goddess of fertility) is an ancient Celtic and Pagan celebration that honors the transition from lunar to solar, and the birth of all things from flowers, to animals, to new projects. This is a time to honor your own creations and intentions, as well as the divine feminine energy within all of us. It is a time to reflect on lessons learned throughout the winter and ways to grow with the changing of the season.

Come prepared to dive into circle casting, candle meditation, divination, purification rituals, and other celebrations of the festival.

Please bring the following: comfy clothes, divination tools, spring flowers, pen and paper/journal, anything from your Imbolc altar at home.

Min: 3 | Max: 20

Meet your guide, Julia Fox:

I am a certified yoga instructor RYT 200, and Licensed Psychotherapist, MA LPCC. I have experience leading a variety of yoga classes, meditations, and mind/body therapy sessions. One my greatest passions is teaching and connecting with groups of people on a deep spiritual level. I spend most of my time reading, studying religion and culture, using divination tools (i.e. Tarot), and connecting with nature. Traditional witchcraft, paganism, and earth medicine is a part of my practice, and I strive to bring elements of these aspects into my teachings. I believe that everyone has a unique soul path and I love assisting and guiding others on that spiritual journey
