Yin yoga is a very slow and calming style of yoga (classes usually consist of only 5-8 postures) that are held for long durations (3-7 minutes each) These mellow but deep postures incorporate a strong use of props (and your own pillows and blankets) to help you soften into sensation, sink into breath, and slip into stillness.
