Summer Solstice Cacao Ceremony
Summer Solstice Cacao Ceremony
Let’s Get Illuminated: A Cacao Ceremony for Summer Solstice (120 min.)
Guided by Lightworker Amy Heilman
Sunday June 24th - 2p-4p
We come together to celebrate the Summer Solstice, the season of light, of fire, and our heart’s passions. Because we have more sunlight, Summer Solstice is a great time to burn away the things we no longer need so that we can bring in more of what we want, more of what is working in our lives. We can use this vital sun energy to activate empowerment themes and tools into our cells, and receive light-filled messages to help establish a life that is true and whole. In order to get what we want in life, we must ask for it. As the Hopi Elders stated: “We are the ones that we’ve been waiting for.”
Because of cacao’s ability to increase your connection to your inner self and your heart chakra, it aids in any transformational shift you are working towards, whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of who you are, release old patterns and traumas, or move into a more self-confident space. Whatever your path, the intention is yours to set, and the cacao allows you to use the insight and awareness to move towards that goal.
What to expect:
We begin the class with a cacao ceremony, drinking a cup of ceremonial cacao to connect us to Spirit and to help expand our Heart Chakra (40 min). We then move through writing exercises, somatic movement, and circle sharing rituals to channel the releasing and manifesting process. Our experience will be deepened by sacred sounds of drums, shakers, singing bowls, and chants (70 min). Lastly, we raise the vibration and celebrate our work by singing together. We weave our blessings and prayers into our lives and bless the way for new beginnings (10 min.). This practice will support you as you move from confusion to clarity so that you can live the life your heart is craving, all within the support of an intimate community.
